Mellott—(CNS)—Edward Hatton, 75, Wingate realtor, died of a heart attack at his home Wednesday evening (Oct. 12, 1949). His body was found in the garage after he and Mrs. Hatton had returned from a drive. He was born Dec. 31, 1873, near Attica, son of Melvin and Nancy Houts Hatton. Following the death of his first wife, he was married to Hester Yow, who survives. He was a member of the Wingate Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Dale Roth, Mansfield, Ohio, and Mrs. William Parker, Wingate, and three grandchildren. The body is at the R. C. Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell, Ind.
